The Fire Flowers of June to July 2026

In late June, we are entering a period of astrological “fireworks”. Upon discovering it, I think I prefer the term “fire flowers”, the literal translation of fireworks in Japanese. We think of fireworks as a big, unmistakable, loud, awe-inspiring event, not completely without its risks—some love them, some hate them, some feel a little of both. “Fire flowers” emphasizes the beauty within the transient intensity.

I’ll share about some very impactful transits ahead.

☆  June 25
Cancer Sun square Aries Neptune

The word that comes to me for this transit is tenderness. If any part of Neptune’s beginning in Aries felt raw or sensitive, Cancer season now invites us to tend to this in a way that initiates a return to self. Sitting by a stream, tuning into the flow state of the natural world, and catching up with what has been moving within on all levels, physical and spiritual.

Capricorn Full Moon square Neptune, Saturn

Saturn and Neptune (that, interestingly, station Retrograde in July) have propelled us to take steps that build upon a new foundation. We can allow this Full Moon to be a moment to catch up with ourselves, integrate what we have experienced over the first half of 2026, and reposition more comfortably as we continue ever onward.

Jupiter enters Leo & squares Chiron at 0º Taurus

Jupiter will soon embark upon a journey through Leo! There will be much more to say about Jupiter in Leo as other alignments come into play over the next 13 months. However, the first story that needs to be reported on is Jupiter’s square to Chiron, which only recently arrived at 0º Taurus. The archetypal combination of Leo and Taurus helps us become viscerally human, alive and embodied. As we are called to passionate expression, we also will encounter the areas of embodiment that require healing. As we are alight with greater fire, it will simultaneously be essential to ground and return to the Earth.

Mars conjunct Uranus at 3º Gemini square Nodes

The true planetary meeting that is recurrently described as fireworks (timed with a remarkable synchronicity). An intense blooming that revolves around the exchange of perspectives, relationship to technological change, and new avenues of communication and connection. Mars, Uranus, and Gemini all have a tendency towards novelty and facing experiences unknown. Meanwhile, the Pisces North Node squaring Mars-Uranus would like to remind us of the timeless raft we can hold onto. Whatever gives your life real meaning and spiritual nourishment—that is your tether. There is something true within you that can ride any wave.
